Hi there, my name is Camille Carroll, Ed.S. I am a high school Fine Arts Educator and Instructional Leader with a passion for building inclusive, future-ready classrooms.

My background spans over a decade in public education, ranging from special education support to K-12 art instruction. I hold a Master's degree in Educational Administration, a Specialist degree in the Superintendency, and a Graduate Certification in Trauma and Resiliency.

I developed this site as an accessible, 24/7 learning hub for my Art & Design and Computer Graphics students. By hosting our curriculum here, I aim to lower digital barriers, foster student autonomy, and provide a transparent look into my instructional design for visiting educators and administrators.

Movie Poster Project

Student will be able to:

Analyze the conventions of professional movie posters to identify key visual elements for recreation.
Apply Photoshop blending tools and layering techniques, building on prior technical foundation, to seamlessly integrate staff photography into a cinematic layout.
Execute a satirical concept that utilizes irony or exaggeration to celebrate (and playfully critique) school culture.
Foster community "Safety and Stability" by using humor as a tool for connection rather than exclusion.

Climate Change Project

Student Will Be Able To:

Translate evidence-based research from their climate change presentations into a specific visual concept based on one verified scientific prediction.
Synthesize multiple photographic elements in Adobe Photoshop using advanced blending and selection tools to construct a seamless, exaggerated environment.
Apply specialized effects, such as adjustment layers, atmospheric filters, and lighting manipulation, to illustrate the predicted environmental impact with technical precision.
Demonstrate Agency by transforming complex scientific data into a compelling visual narrative that communicates the urgency of their chosen climate trend.

Cartoon Project

Student Will Be Able To:

Generate an original character profile through short-story writing, establishing a narrative "Anchor" that informs the character's physical traits and personality.
Construct a precise vector-based character skeleton using the Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator, demonstrating control over anchor points and paths.
Develop visual depth and "realistic" dimension by strategically applying color palettes, highlights, and shadow gradients to their vector paths.
Synthesize narrative intent with digital execution, ensuring the final "realistic cartoon" illustration accurately reflects the internal traits established in their brainstorming story.

Galaxy Project

Student Will Be Able To:

Analyze high-resolution NASA imagery to identify the organic structures, light behaviors, and color densities found in celestial bodies.
Construct a complex, "as close to reality as possible" galaxy by synthesizing technical tools, including Shapes, Transforms, and Symbols, to build structural layers.
Manipulate atmospheric depth and luminosity using the Symbol Sprayer, Gradients, and Glow Effects to simulate stellar gases and light dispersion.
Execute a composition that intentionally demonstrates four or more Elements and Principles of Design (e.g., Balance, Emphasis, Color, and Space), justifying their creative choices through scientific observation.

Mythological Creature Project

Student Will Be Able To:

Analyze the cultural origins and physical characteristics of mythological creatures through targeted research to establish a narrative foundation for their project.
Propose a creative synthesis by selecting a personal self-portrait and a specific mythological counterpart, justifying the pairing through a structured Google Slide presentation.
Apply Adobe Photoshop manipulation and blending techniques to integrate mythological attributes into their self-portrait, creating a seamless hybrid identity.
Demonstrate Agency by reimagining their personal image through the lens of historical myth, transforming their "Self" into a symbolic representation of specific character traits or origins.
